We often receive questions about why the List Price (Your Price + Shipping) shown on the BQool Manage Listings page and Competitor Analysis differs from the List Price displayed on the Amazon Selling Page.
This discrepancy typically occurs due to the time it takes for updated data to be reported by Amazon, retrieved by BQool, and reflected across different sections of the interface.
Once BQool receives a price changed notification from Amazon, we calculates the new price based on the configured Repricing Rules and sends the updated price to Amazon.
It’s recommended to check the Price History to view the latest repricing price.
Shortly after Amazon receives and confirms the new price, it updates the listing on the seller's Amazon storefront accordingly.
The List Price on the Manage Listings page is typically the last to be updated in BQool, as most of our computing resources are prioritized for processing the transactions mentioned above.
If you check the Manage Listings page after the updated data has been published, the price should be synchronized with the corresponding price on the Amazon Selling Page. BQool updates the Manage Listings page periodically; however, there may be a short delay before recent changes are fully reflected.
Also, due to a recent Amazon API update, listings that contain the special characters may experience slower repricing and listing update speeds.
Amazon has stated:
“When it comes to updating listings—whether it's through the Seller Central interface, the Selling Partner API Listing Item API, or the JSON_LISTINGS_FEED—our system is designed to take up to 48 hours. This is how the entire system is built, so it doesn't matter which developer makes the changes; the process is the same for all sellers.”
Therefore, to prevent potential delays and ensure more reliable price updates through Amazon, we strongly recommend following the guidelines below:
- Use only letters (A–Z) and numbers (0–9) in your SKUs. Avoid using special characters such as: & # $ ! @ * " ' : = \ + / { } [ ] ; , ` ~ ' %.
- Keep SKUs limited to 40 characters or fewer.
- If necessary, consider relisting existing SKUs by creating new ones.
