5 Rule Type

At “Rule Type,” you can start by choosing the appropriate repricing strategy.

1. Match Buy Box:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box: Matches the price of the Buy Box Owner to avoid the intense price competition. It is suggested for the sellers with a high number of store positive feedbacks and rates.

When you get the Buy Box: there is no price change.

2. Undercut the Buy Box Price – Oscillate:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box: Only competes with the Buy Box Owner and goes to a lower price to increase the chances of getting the Buy Box.

However, if the price of a Buy Box Owner equals or is lower than your Min Price, your price will be adjusted to your Max Price by the system to prevent losing profits. On the other hand, when Buy Box owners raise their price (above your Min price), your price will goes to a lower price to increase the chances of getting the Buy Box.

3. Undercut the Buy Box Price:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box: Only competes with the Buy Box Owner and goes to a lower price to increase the chances of getting the Buy Box.

When you get the Buy Box: The price will be raised to increase your profit.

4. Target the Lowest FBA Price:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box:  Only competes with the lowest price FBA sellers, except FBM sellers to remain at the lowest price among FBA competitors.

When you get the Buy Box: The price will be raised to increase your profit.

5. Target the Lowest Price:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box: To remain at the lowest price among competitors, the system only competes with the lowest price sellers.

When you get the Buy Box: Make sure your price is the lowest among all competitors (If it does, it will be tried to increase the price by the system to raise the profit.)

C. Stay in the Buy Box

The “Stay in Buy Box” screen is designed to maximize your time in the Buy Box with different repricing tactics and approaches, which are available in the Buy Box settings.

The strategies in Buy Box settings will determine how your price will react when you are in the Buy Box. You will be able to select the competitor's fulfillment type. We recommend excluding Non-Featured Merchants and focusing on the feature merchants.

mceclip12.png

1. Lower or Raise my Buy Box Price

When the competitor’s price is below your price, your price will compete with it to make sure the  price is the lowest among all competitors.

mceclip13.png

When your price is the lowest price among all competitors, it will still be raised to compete with other sellers, but remains the lowest among all competitors.

mceclip14.png

2. Raise my Buy Box Price to Maximize Profit

Whether your price is the lowest or not, it will compete with other sellers who have prices above your price to maximize the profit.

mceclip15.png

3. Lower my Buy Box Price to Stay Competitive

Your price will compete with the competitor who has the lowest price to make sure your price is the lowest. However, if your price is the lowest, it will not be repriced.

mceclip16.png

4. Do Not Change my Buy Box Price

When you win Buy Box Ownership, there will be no repricing until you lose Buy Box ownership.
