Rule Type

At the current screen, “Rule Type,” you will notice a new layout and workflow. Start by choosing the appropriate repricing strategy.

By selecting a strategy, a default rule name and description will appear below. You may use the default name, or you may input a custom name and description. When you are satisfied with your selection, click the “next” button to move onto the next screen where you will be able to confirm the preconfigured details or fine-tune the strategy.

The Targeted Competitors

At the “Competitors” screen, these settings define who your competitors are in your strategy. They are generally unchanged from previous versions except for one new feature to compete against Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP).

This is mentioned in more detail in the next section. Please note that the “Compete with” dropbox selection will affect the subsequent workflow depending on whether you choose to compete against the “Lowest Price” or the “Buy Box Price.”

In the "Choose Competitor(s) section, choose who to reprice against. Check the competitors you want to include in repricing.

When you are satisfied, click on “Next”.

Get Buy Box

At the “Get Buy Box” screen, the settings here define your strategy when you are not in the Buy Box. The available options displayed will be dependent on whether you choose to compete against the “Lowest Price” or the “Buy Box Price” (See below) as selected from the previous screen. Click “Next” when you are satisfied with your selection.

Stay in Buy Box

The “Stay in Buy Box” screen is designed to maximize your time in the Buy Box with different repricing tactics and approaches, which are available in the Buy Box settings.

The strategies in Buy Box settings will determine how your price will react when you are in the Buy Box. You will be able to select the competitor's fulfillment type. We recommend excluding Non-Featured Merchants and focusing on the feature merchants.
