5 Default Rule Types

You can start by choosing the appropriate repricing strategy in "Rule Type" section.

1. Match Buy Box:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box: Matches the price of the Buy Box Owner to avoid the intense price competition. It is suggested for the sellers with a high number of store positive feedbacks and rates.

When you get the Buy Box: there is no price change.

2. Undercut the Buy Box Price – Oscillate:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box: Only competes with the Buy Box Owner and goes to a lower price to increase the chances of getting the Buy Box.

However, if the price of a Buy Box Owner equals or is lower than your Min Price, your price will be adjusted to your Max Price by the system to prevent losing profits. On the other hand, when Buy Box owners raise their price (above your Min price), your price will goes to a lower price to increase the chances of getting the Buy Box.

3. Undercut the Buy Box Price:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box: Only competes with the Buy Box Owner and goes to a lower price to increase the chances of getting the Buy Box.

When you get the Buy Box: The price will be raised to increase your profit.

4. Target the Lowest FBA Price:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box:  Only competes with the lowest price FBA sellers, except FBM sellers to remain at the lowest price among FBA competitors.

When you get the Buy Box: The price will be raised to increase your profit.

5. Target the Lowest Price:

When you are not able to get the Buy Box: To remain at the lowest price among competitors, the system only competes with the lowest price sellers.

When you get the Buy Box: Make sure your price is the lowest among all competitors (If it does, it will be tried to increase the price by the system to raise the profit.)

Get the Buy Box

At the “Get Buy Box” screen, the settings play a crucial role in defining your repricing strategy when you are not in the Buy Box.

The available options displayed on this screen are influenced by the previos step on your choice of competing against the "Lowest Price" or the "Buy Box Price."

Compete with Buy Box Price

The following settings will be applied when you don’t win the Buy Box and choose to compete with the seller who owns the Buy Box.

<Buy Box Winner Found Between Min & Max>

  • When Buy Box Winner is above Min Price:
    Choose how to compete when Buy Box Winner price is greater than your Min Price.
  • When Buy Box Winner is below Min Price:

    Choose how to compete when your competitor's price equals your Min Price.

<Buy Box Winner Found Outside Min & Max>

Choose a new price for scenarios where the Buy Box winner(s) is not included within your Min and Max prices.

<Buy Box Winner Not Found>

If there is no Buy Box owner found, the setting “Do Not Reprice”, “Min/ Max Price”, “Fixed Price “, or “Your Price“ will be applied.

<Competition Not Found>

When you are the only seller or Buy Box Winners are excluded by your settings, the setting “Use Max Price “, “Do Not Reprice”, or “Customize Your Price“ will be applied.

Compete with Lowest Price

The following settings will be applied when you don’t win the Buy Box and choose to compete with the seller who has the Lowest Price.

<Competition Found Between Min & Max>

<Competition Not Found>

Advanced Settings

1. You can set special repricing settings for unique competition scenarios.

It's important to note that when "Advanced Settings" are activated, they take precedence over "Get Buy Box" settings. In other words, if you have turned on "Advanced Settings," they will be applied first, and any configurations in the "Get Buy Box" settings will be overridden.

Turn on the slider to activate the Advanced Settings.

Stay in Buy Box

The “Stay in Buy Box” screen is designed to maximize your time in the Buy Box with different repricing tactics and approaches, which are available in the Buy Box settings.

The strategies in Buy Box settings will determine how your price will react when you are in the Buy Box. You will be able to select the competitor's fulfillment type. We recommend excluding Non-Featured Merchants and focusing on the feature merchants.

1. Lower or Raise my Buy Box Price

When the competitor’s price is below your price, your price will compete with it to make sure your price is the lowest among all competitors.

When your price is the lowest price among all competitors, it will still be raised to compete with other sellers, but remains the lowest among all competitors.

2. Raise my Buy Box Price to Maximize Profit

Regardless of whether your price is the lowest or not, your listing will compete with other sellers whose price is above yours, aiming to maximize profits.

3. Lower my Buy Box Price to Stay Competitive

You will compete with the competitor who has the lowest price to make sure your price remains the lowest. However, if your price is the lowest, the listing will not be repriced.

4. Do Not Change my Buy Box Price

When you win Buy Box Ownership, there will be no repricing until you lose Buy Box ownership.
