Do I still Need to Set Min or Max Bids While Using AI-Bidding?

Min and Max Bids act as guardrails for AI Bidding. They help prevent overspending, stop bids from dropping too low and losing visibility, and ensure AI optimization stays aligned with your overall strategy. AI adjusts bids within the range you define, while Min and Max Bids set the boundaries.

Why Set a Min and Max Bid Range Instead of a Fixed Bid?

A Min and Max bid range gives AI Bidding the flexibility to adjust bids based on performance while keeping them within your acceptable limits. This allows the system to respond to performance changes without exceeding your budget or sacrificing visibility. In short, the bid range defines a “safe zone” for AI optimization.

How Should I Set Min and Max Bid Values?

Set Min and Max Bids based on your campaign goals and profitability:

  • Min Bid: High enough to remain competitive
  • Max Bid: Low enough to stay within your target cost per click

Avoid setting the range too narrow, as it limits optimization, or too wide, which may increase risk. Always consider your target ACOS and product margins when defining these limits.

What Does the “Added by Auto-Harvesting” Label Mean?

The “Added by Auto-Harvesting” label indicates that a keyword or product target was automatically added by BQool’s Auto-Harvesting feature. This means the system identified it as a high-performing opportunity based on real performance data.

Auto-Harvesting helps focus your ad spend on targets that drive clicks and conversions, reducing manual work while improving efficiency and ROAS.

What Are Keyword Match Types?

Keyword Match Type determines how closely a shopper’s search must match your chosen keyword before your ad shows. Amazon offers three main types:

  • Broad Match: Shows ads for related searches, giving wider reach.
  • Phrase Match: Shows ads when the shopper’s query includes your keyword phrase in order.
  • Exact Match: Shows ads only when the shopper’s search exactly matches your keyword.

What Are Product Targeting Types?

Targeting types allow you to fine-tune which products trigger your ads.

  • Exact: Target a single product.
  • Expanded: Target a single product along with others.
