Goal Strategy

Best for

Basic

  • Products with no brand recognition or a lack of a specific strategy.
  • New products with no brand recognition to collect initial data (competitor terms, ASINs).

That data can then be used to decide if you want to break out into Branded or Advanced goals afterwards.

Advanced

  • Products with sufficient campaign data.
  • Products with high-performing targets ready for optimization.

Brand-based

  • Established brands with strong search demand.
  • Products targeting specific competitors.

Custom

Sellers who prefer a simple setup with one campaign.

Step 4: Goal Details

Once selecting a Goal strategy, a set of campaigns are automatically created based on the most effective ad structures to maximize efficiency.

Below is an example of auto and manual campaigns created with Basic Goal Strategy.

Step 5: Preview

Basic strategy

  • Campaigns created through Campaign Builder are automatically configured with the Auto Target ACOS option and the Moderate strategy, giving you a balanced start without the need to determine the optimal settings yourself.
  • Auto-Harvesting works only with manual campaigns, not auto campaigns. In auto campaigns, Amazon automatically selects keywords based on your listing content.
  • You can opt to update Advanced Settings if needed.

Advanced strategy

  • When selecting the Advanced Goal Strategy, the system builds an additional campaign focusing on top converting keywords and product targets, as shown below.
  • Settings on the Preview screen operate are similar as the Basic Goal strategy.

Brand-Based strategy

  • With Brand-Based Goal strategy, the system creates a manual campaign to target branded and competitor terms and products, respectively.
  • You have the option to manually add Brand and Competitor phrases and products.
    • Branded phrases: your own brand name and related terms
    • Competitor phrases: target other brands in your category to capture buyers' considering alternatives

Custom strategy

  • You have the options to create an auto or manual campaign (either keyword targeting or product targeting), and customize the settings based on your specific strategy.

Auto Campaign

  • Select Auto Campaign and provide your bid for each keyword match type.

  • Select Manual Campaign > Keyword Targeting and manually add keywords and adjust bids.
  • Select Manual Campaign > Product Targeting and manually add ASINs and update your bid amount.

Step 6: Competing Campaign

Under Competing Campaign section, check if there are any existing campaigns in your account advertising the same product. If competing campaigns are found, we recommend turning off the Product Ad Status toggle to pause them and maximize the efficiency of Campaign Builder, .

☛ Note: Changes will take effect 48 hours after new campaigns are created in BQool. This allows campaigns created with BQool’s Campaign Builder to collect sufficient performance data and prevents campaign insights from being interrupted prematurely.

Step 7: Launch Goal

Click Launch Goal once all set.

The system will return messages and inform you the campaign creation have been successfully sent to Amazon.
