Before explaining how BQool Repricing Mechanics operate, it's essential to highlight some key points for a better understanding.
1. The Repricing Central competitor-based system targets eligible competitors and adjusts Your Price based on a specified Repricing Rule.
2. BQool relies on pricing competition information obtained from Amazon SQS reports, which will only be sent when there is a change in prices or positions. Once BQool receives the SQS reports, the Repricing Mechanics will adjust Your Price based on a specified Repricing Rule.
3. BQool is unable to perform private label pricing based on orders and inventory of specific listings. Additionally, BQool does not support repricing activities for cross ASINs.
What is Amazon SQS?
Amazon SQS (Simple Queue Service)
Amazon provides an information queue service, known as Amazon SQS. Third-party software, such as BQool, can utilize this queue service to exchange messages. It is the channel for BQool to send and receive the pricing results to and from Amazon.
The SQS contains information regarding the top 20 price ranks on the other listing page, seller IDs, price offers (Your Price + shipping), Buy Box winners, fulfillment types, product conditions (new, used, etc.), feedback rates, and more.

Two Types of Repricing Speeds
BQool offers two pricing processing speeds after receiving the SQS reports from Amazon. Subscribers with a plan priced at $100/month or higher benefit from an accelerated repricing speed, operating as swiftly as permitted by Amazon. On the other hand, all other subscription plans come with a repricing speed that takes approximately 15 minutes to set a new Your Price.

Duplicate Listing
If you have two different SKUs under the same ASIN, BQool cannot distinguish between the two listings because the SQS report does not contain the SKU information. However, if there are variations in fulfillment type (FBA or FBM) or product condition (New or Used), the system can differentiate between the listings and reprice them accordingly.

The Repricing Procedure
The repricing procedure of BQool Repricing Central:
1. When a listing is enabled for repricing for the first time, BQool sends out a pricing competition data request to the Amazon API (Application Programming Interface). Following this request, the pricing competition data is conveyed back to BQool in the form of SQS (Simple Queue Service) through the Amazon API.
2. Once the SQS is received, BQool adjusts the user's price based on the given Repricing Rule and sends the new price back to Amazon. Soon after Amazon receives the new price and confirms it, it proceeds to reflect the new price for the corresponding listing on the Seller's Amazon storefront.
If the user manually changes the price at Seller Central, BQool will not send out the pricing competition data request to Amazon, but will then automatically proceed to the next phase of the repricing process.
The Listing Is Enabled for Repricing.
If there is any price change from the top 20 competitors or the users listed as competitors have changed, then Amazon sends an SQS notice to BQool. Please consider this as a Competition Price Change Notification.
There are certain circumstances when Amazon may take a long time to send the SQS to BQool, or even not send the SQS at all.
These circumstances include when a price change occurs outside of the top 20 offers being monitored, when you are the only seller in the competition, or when there is no price change from competitors.
If BQool does not receive the SQS from Amazon for over 12 hours, then BQool proactively triggers the SQS request from Amazon. Despite this, Amazon may not respond.
After receiving the new SQS from Amazon, BQool follows a designated Repricing Rule to configure the new price and sends it back to Amazon. In this way, Amazon receives and confirms the price change and changes the price on the Amazon Storefront.
