To enable an Advanced Setting, slide the toggle switch on the right to the "On" position.

1. When Adjusted Price is above your Max Price, Max Price will be applied.
2. When inputting the price change value in the rule, please place a zero before the decimal point.

3. The enabled Advanced Settings will take precedence over the Get Buy Box Settings.
For example, you enable Advanced Settings for the following scenarios:
- FBA vs Amazon
- FBA vs FBA
- FBM vs FBM
When your competitor is Amazon,
→ for your FBA listing, the Advanced Setting (FBA vs Amazon) will be applied.
→ for your FBM listing, Get Buy Box Settings will be applied.
Below are some common scenarios and strategies for both FBA and FBM sellers, which you can use as a reference.
FBA vs FBA / FBA vs FBM listings
- When your FBA listing is competing with a FBA listing, you can undercut Your Price to try to win the Buy Box. Take the example in the image, Your Price will be automatically undercut $0.01 less than your FBA competitor's price.
- When your FBA listing is competing with a FBM listing, since FBA listings are more likely to win the buy box compared to FBM listings, it’s advisable to set Your Price higher than the FBM competitor’s price. To maintain a moderate distance, a suggested value is 3%.
The setting is highly versatile and flexible, which ensures the maximized profit and increase the chance of winning the Buy Box.
FBM vs FBA / FBM vs FBM listings
- FBM listings are less likely to win the buy box compared to FBA listings. Thereofore, when your FBM listing is competing with a FBA listing, it’s advisable to set Your Price lower than the FBA competitor’s price. To maintain a moderate distance, a suggested value is 3%.
- In a cautious approach, when dealing with FBM vs FBM scenarios, it is recommended to match your price with the competitor. This moderate strategy helps avoid potential profit loss and ensures active participation in the price competition.
