The Previous Rule with Only One Repricing Response

In the previous version, sellers could only set one repricing response to cope with three scenarios. If the seller sets a rule approaching the Min Price, they might risk the possibility of sacrificing the profit if the competition turns into all competitors are above the Max Price. Conversely, if the seller sets a rule approaching the Max Price, the seller will provide a less competitive price if all eligible competitors are below your Max Price.

The New Rule with Versatile Repricing Response

In the new version of Repricing Central, we separate the settings corresponding to the three different competition scenarios. Offering more flexible settings to users in an effort to specify different repricing response to tackle different competition scenarios.

The Previous Rule with Only One Repricing Response

As presented in previous scenario cases, if seller designs a rule aiming at the Buy Box price, the Buy Box price could be above your Max Price or below your Min Price.

With the previous settings, sellers only can set a rule to cope with the two scenarios, so they are usually in a dilemma and don’t know if they should set a rule approaching the Min Price or the Max Price.

The New Rule with Versatile Repricing Response

In the new version of Repricing Central, we separate the settings corresponding to the two different competition scenarios. Offering more flexible settings to users so they can design different repricing to tackle when different competition scenarios happen.

Step 1: Go to Repricing Rule and move to Repricing Settings>>Compete with: Buy Box Price>> Buy Box Winner found below Min or above Max (When Buy Box Winner cannot be found in your Min & Max price range), you will see two settings corresponding the two scenarios as discussed above.

Step 2: There are four variables in each scenario including “Do Not Reprice”, “Min Price”, “Max Price” and “Fixed Price” to design the repricing rules.

Step 3: Mouseover the information icon right of the field, you will see an example explaining the scenario.

Below is the example for When the Buy Box winner is found below Min Price.
