What happens when the listing goes out of stock?

Follow

If a listing goes out of stock after repricing is enabled, BQool will not pause repricing mechanics. The reason for this is that when the inventory of the listing is replenished, BQool can start repricing the listing instantly. The user will not need to use the filters to sort the newly replenished listing.

After certain listings go out of stock, BQool is not able to receive the SQS report for the corresponding listings. Even though the user can still change the price offer in Seller Central on the out of stock listings, BQool is not able to update the newly changed price on the BQool end.

This might result in a scenario where users are selling at the lowest price when the listing is replenished. It’s highly recommended that you use the “Reset Your Price When Out of Stock” feature in the general settings. This way, BQool will send a final price adjustment request after BQool receives the data report from Amazon’s API when you are out of stock.

This way, when a product is in high demand, this setting will help you automatically reset Your Price higher before you restock the listing.

Here is a quick recap of all the scenarios related to listing quantities:

When the quantity of a listing equals 0, BQool cannot receive the SQS report from Amazon.

When the quantity of the listing is greater than 0, BQool will receive the SQS report from Amazon. No matter whether the users have enabled repricing on certain listings or not, Amazon will provide the SQS report to BQool for all the listings. The only difference is whether or not the competition data is being shown for the listing under the other field header.

If the user didn’t input the Min/Max Price and Repricing Rule or enable the repricing mechanics, then the competition data (Low Price + Shipping, Buy Box +Shipping, Units Sold, and Est Profit) that typically comes with the SQS report will not be provided on the Manage Listing.

The only exception to this is when another BQool user is selling the same ASIN (for example, the FBM listing in the image below) and all the repricing prerequisites have been inputted on their listing, then the data will show on your Manage Listing.
