Amazon has recently added a redirect warning for any actions that will lead buyers to external websites from Amazon’s Buyer-Seller Messaging Service. In response to this warning, we decided to remove the tracking code that we inserted in the request feedback/review link.
Originally, the purpose of the tracking code was to calculate your campaign performance which you can view under the Dashboard. Due to some buyers’ complaints about the redirect warning page, we have decided to remove it. After all, we do not want your buyers to see the warning message and have a negative experience when receiving request feedback/ review emails.
As our IT team has already removed the tracking code, any emails that include feedback/review links won’t cause the redirect warning after June 29, 2017. However, the links in pending emails still contain the code. If you wish to remove the code from your pending emails, you can pause your active campaign(s) and change the status back to active. As such, the pending emails will be replaced by new ones which don’t have tracking code inserted.
